Dancing with Parkinson's-us is a community based dance project that serves the greater Las Vegas Parkinson's community, through the Dance for PD® approach. Our mission is to improve the lives of people with Parkinson's disease through our dance classes, activities and events, while operating with the highest standards in arts education.
We welcome those with PD, along with their caregivers, to attend and participate in our classes. In a joyful environment, we celebrate life by dancing and moving together, with a Dance for PD® Certified Teaching Artist.
Along with regular Dance for PD classes, some of our dancers and supporters have participated in the Dancing with Parkinson's NV video project, "Crane Dance" for the World Parkinson Congress in Kyoto, Japan and danced in our latest project "PD and the Creative Arts Experience ".
